We hope to share in pictures and words the highlights of our journeys. We are semi-retired, meaning we both work remotely with phones and computers as we travel around in our 27′ Airstream International, which we have named “Close2You II”. Those who know us may remember our sailboat, a 26′ MacGregor named “Close To You”, and therefore…

We had our first RV only 6 months before trading it in for a two-foot longer model!

We have been to many places in the world before this but only began “RV’ing” about 3 years ago when we purchased our first Airstream, a 25′ International. We joined the local WBCCI, the Oregon Airstream Club, and very soon heard the expression “Two Foot-Itus”. Sure enough, we had our first RV only 6 months before trading it in for a two-foot longer model! Pat said it was because of the bed configuration, but I suspect she just wanted more room for clothes! Oops!
